Science Savvy Academy is a new local option that teaches kids how to actually DO science and develop skills for lifelong discovery, rather than just regurgitating facts.
The program, geared to Jr. High students aged 11-15, is offered by a licensed teacher who spent eight years earning a reputation for pushing the boundaries of traditional education, developing new curricula, and discovering ways to get teens excited about science.
